Ask these questions early
- What type of system is it: conventional or aerobic?
- When was it last pumped?
- Are maintenance records available?
- Where are the tank and drain field located?
- Has the system had backups, odors, alarms, or repairs?
- Does the home have well water too?
Inspection matters
