Lionel Messi Lists His $232 Million Real Estate Portfolio: Here’s What’s Inside

Football legend Lionel Messi is selling his real estate portfolio, which is worth an incredible €223 million (about $232 million).

His company, Edificio Rostower Socimi, owns seven hotels, commercial properties like shops and offices, and houses.

Even though Messi was born in Argentina and now plays in Miami, he has spent much of his life in Spain.

His company, Rostower, has had some losses in recent years but recently became a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) in December.

REITs are special companies that own property and pay lower taxes in Spain.

This move comes just after Spain blocked a new tax law for REITs, which could have raised taxes for property companies.

Messi, who doesn’t usually talk much about his business investments, is now listed on a smaller Spanish stock exchange called the Portfolio Stock Exchange.

Messi’s company doesn’t need to sell stocks to make money, so the listing is mostly to follow legal rules.

Messi is the chairman of Rostower, and his wife is also involved in the business.

It looks like Messi is making some big moves in real estate!
