Father of Three Killed While Driving Home From Work—Houston Police Need Your Help

A heartbroken family is mourning the loss of Robert Schorovsky, a father of three, who was tragically shot while driving home from his job installing Christmas lights at the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas.

On December 2, at around 10:30 p.m., police responded to a vehicle crash on the busy Gulf Freeway.

When they arrived, they found 37-year-old Robert in critical condition.

He had been shot at least once while driving, but there were no visible signs of damage to his truck.

Robert was rushed to the hospital but sadly passed away on December 4.

Described as a loving father and hardworking man, Robert was a family guy who loved spending time with his kids, ages 9, 11, and 14.

His obituary highlights his passion for making memories with his loved ones—whether it was fishing, hiking, bike riding, or traveling.

Robert’s wife, Brittany, shared how he always made her happy and did things, like riding roller coasters, even when he didn’t enjoy them, just to make her smile.

Now, police are trying to figure out who took his life. They have no leads, and there are no witnesses.

The Houston Police Department is asking anyone with information to come forward.

If you know anything, you can contact the Homicide Division at 713-308-3600, or stay anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS. A $5,000 reward is being offered for information.

Please help bring justice to Robert and his grieving family.
